Conference room furniture
We can finally get back to having those large face to face conference meetings. Have you walked back into your boardroom and felt it looks tired? In need of a revamp? Let’s go through the top 5 pieces of furniture for your boardroom.
Table
The biggest piece of furniture in the room. Our conference tables range drastically in size and most seat between 4 and 16 people. We’ve attached a picture to show the place settings. Please get in touch if you would like a guideline of an alternative shaped table. Many of our boardroom tables are made to order, this means that you can decide on all the finishing touches. Cable trays, cable ports and power can all be added to boardroom tables to create the best working space possible.
Chairs
Ensure everyone is comfortable. Some meetings are hours long and sitting for a lengthy time can cause health issues. Pick from one of our ergonomic chairs to ensure everyone is sitting correctly. In tern this can increase concentration and creativity.
Media Unit
Even though people are going back to the office, there is still the huge need for virtual calls. Businesses are changing the way they are working and hot desking between the office and home is becoming popular. It’s important that everyone can make meetings. If you’ve not got room for a media wall unit, why not consider a mobile media unit. For example, the MoMu from Sven Christiansen. This is a fabulous piece of furniture that can be easily transported from room to room.
Storage
This isn’t imperative, but we recommend that your boardroom is kept clean and tidy. Any additional stationary, brochures, leaflets etc should be kept in a cupboard out of sight. To go the extra mile for your customers, why not add a fitted fridge stocked with water and juices.
Accessories
Depending on the business you may want interactive or white boards. Rails and grids are also used a lot in fashion. Using the wall space well keeps floorspace clean and tidy.
Other things to think about when designing your boardroom is the connectivity of your tv unit to laptops etc. You may also want to think about a room booking system for your office. This is more beneficial to larger businesses with multiple boardrooms that are used on a regular basis.
