After being recommended by another commercial refurbishment company, Leicester Office Furnishers was only too happy to assist this undisclosed client based in Lutterworth to kit out their new office space with new office furniture which included meeting room and breakout furniture

The Starting Point

This client was after reasonably high end office furniture with a nod to the industrial look whilst still remaining in keeping with their business park office location. Their office already had quite a lot of oak within it, on windowsills and doors etc, rather than match with the oak, the client was keen to move away from the more traditional wood finishes and go for something more modern looking. Leicester Office Furnishers bought together a selection of office furniture products and finishes for the client to assess and choose from before making their final selection.

The End Result

The final office furniture selection used Hawk Office Furniture’s ‘Force’ bench desking range. The Force bench desking range uses extremely robust steel leg frames and is supplied fully-loaded with scalloped backed, sliding tops and cable trays underneath making for easy cable management.

The Force bench desk range was used within the open office space as well as the individual executive offices. Matching Hawk office storage was used throughout the Lutterworth based office in a concrete finish on the first floor and a Anthracite finish within the ground floor meeting rooms.

The operator chairs used were from Senator, one of Leicester Office Furnishers favoured office seating suppliers. The Lutterworth based client wanted operator chairs that were going to stand the test of time and ergonomically support their employees during their working day. Senator’s Freeflex operator chairs were chosen due to their articulated flexing back that intuitively encourages movement, while providing appropriate support in all positions. The Senator Freeflex chairs also added a splash of colour to the office with a vibrant purple upholstered seat.

Meeting Room Furniture

The ground floor meeting rooms were fitted out with both rectangular and circular meeting tables with matching credenza storage units. A site visit was carried out by Leicester Office Furnishers prior to the furniture being delivered and it was decided that the rectangular meeting table would be made to a specific (non-standard) size to suit the room more effectively.

Continuing with the Senator seating from the first floor, Trillipse meeting chairs were selected in a black faux leather upholstery providing an upmarket, executive welcome to any visitors to this new Lutterworth office, meeting and breakout space.

Breakout Furniture

The first floor had a large room to be used as breakout space, the Lutterworth client wanted the space to be used for both employees to relax, eat/drink and spend time away from their desks but for the space also to be used for informal meetings and hot desking.

Leicester Office Furnishers supplied a variety of furniture solutions for this large breakout space comprising upholstered enclosed high back booths with integrated power and TV brackets ideal for informal meetings. Modular corner seating was supplied and positioned towards the kitchen area allowing for a casual seating area for dining or just offering an alternative sit to the open office area. Large tables were also supplied with A-Frame canopies, these large tables were supplied with different styles of chairs and benches to give users a choice on what they would like to sit on, they also acted as a great visual with the different colours and materials that were used, this area gave another nod to the industrial vibe without being too much for the Lutterworth based business park setting.

This undisclosed Lutterworth based client was extremely happy with the outcome of their Lutterworth office furniture fit out and couldn’t wait to start working from their new base
