Office Redesign London Fire Brigade

The Situation

When London Fire Brigade first contacted us they wanted help with colour schemes in the office. After various discussions, we decided on red, grey and black to match the branding of London Fire Brigade. The Red was brought into the scheme using the cube storage system, lockers and seating.

Breakout Area Design

When talking to London Fire Brigade it was evident that breakout spaces were to be used a lot. We concentrated on these communal areas, giving them a mixture of high and low seating, that they could work, eat and meet at.

The cube storage was used to divide areas of the office, and create smaller breakout areas. This is a great way to make the office seem spacious yet create small areas among desks and storage. In these smaller spaces we put low coffee tables and swivel tub chairs.

An alternative way to create small areas for private conversations was to incorporate booths into the scheme. Privacy booths have become more and more popular since the start of the pandemic. Having a secure space for conference meetings, zoom calls and one on one meetings is a great way to encourage your staff to get back to the office.

Office Booths

A mixture of black and grey table tops were used, balancing out colours is really important, with the poseur tables having black legs the grey tops work really well in this scheme.

Sven Christensen and Silverline furniture was used throughout the project. Unfortunately since finishing this project Sven Christiansen have gone into liquidation and are no longer trading.
